The Stow Council On Aging is here to provide support to seniors by being a resource of information on elder affairs, provide social activities, outreach services, and help the senior population of Stow remain in their homes as long as safely possible. 

Description of Duties

The Council on Aging oversees a wide range of programs and services for the Senior Citizens of Stow. Programs include Meals on Wheels, Drop-In Center, Exercise Class, Art Classes, Crafts Group, Bus Trips, Christmas Dinner, and Friendly Visitors. Services include Tax Assistance, Van Service, Medicare Information, Newsletter, Health & Housing Information and Referral, and other social services. A monthly newsletter is sent to all Stow senior residents providing a calendar of activities and events for seniors.

COA programs and services are provided by a full time, part time staff, and by volunteers.
