It is always advised to email before visiting the office so we may help you in the most efficient way possible.  Please include all the information we will need to complete/research your request (see more info below) and include a phone number you can be reached at. 

GENERAL INFORMATION for conducting business with the Clerk's Office
The Clerk's office will generally process requests within 7-10 days, often sooner if necessary information is provided.

VITAL RECORDS REQUEST (Birth, Marriage, Death)

Information to Include
1.  Type of record (birth, marriage, death)
2.  Name of person on the record  (use the name that would be on the record - example: maiden name)
3.  Date of event
4.  # of copies to purchase  ($10 per copy)
5.  Contact information for requestor:  Full Name. Phone Number, Email, Mailing Address


Email the form to townclerk@stow-ma.gov & we can call you to process the payment over the phone.
Mail the form with payment to our office.  Checks payable "Town of Stow"
