Update on the 2020 annual town meeting.

Stow's Annual Town meeting will start on Saturday at 9AM.

Several town officials and department heads met this morning. Based on weather models (provided by highway and fire-rescue) we expect most rain to done by 9AM and decided to go forward as scheduled.

We will get another detailed weather update this afternoon, but we will only make changes if tonight's storm track has changed - so no further updates means a 9AM start.

Why no delay to 10 or 11AM? It might still be drizzling at 9, but it is also expected to be very hot and humid when the sun comes out later. Put simply, a bit of warm and rainy will be safer for those outside than a lot of hot and humid.
