Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency Incentives

There are a number of incentives available to help Stow residents adopt clean energy and energy efficiency measures.  These incentives are evolving as local, state, and federal programs are put in place.  Check back here for the latest news when you are making a decision.

State and federal incentives including rebates, tax credits, and financing are available for a wide range of clean energy and energy efficiency measures. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center provides a comprehensive list of these incentives on their “Clean Energy Lives Here” website.

Note that for table columns labeled “Mass Save” and “Financing Options”, Stow residents must be using natural gas from Eversource to qualify for these incentives.

A good website focusing on federal incentives is Rewiring America and its “Saving Calculator”. This calculator provides an estimate of the federal incentives available for specific actions and whether they are in the form of a tax credit, rebate, or both.
