Gleasondale Local Historic District Study Committee

The Gleasondale Local Historic District Study Committee will research and report on the historic significance of the buildings, structures, features, sites, and surroundings of Gleasondale Village, and will provide a report with recommendations for a Local Historic District in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Ch 40C. The committee will coordinate with the Massachusetts Historical Commission, town staff, and residents of Gleasondale Village to determine the boundaries of the proposed district, compile existing historic inventory forms, draft a district study report, and finally draft a Local Historic District Bylaw for consideration by voters at a Town Meeting. The study committee will conduct public hearings and engage the community throughout the process.

The committee meets the first Thursday of each month at 2pm, unless otherwise posted.
