COA STATUS (update 5/21/2020)

The COA will be closed on Friday 5/22 and Tuesday 5/26 in addition to the Memorial Day weekend (5/23 - 5/25).  A staff member will check voicemail on Friday and Tuesday and redirect any urgent matters as appropriate. 
The Pompo Community Center remains closed. However, the staff continues to work (in the building) during this pandemic by helping folks “contact free”. 

Below is a summary of our current status:

•    Staff is available by phone Monday through Friday 8 am to 3:30 pm to answer questions and provide general information and assistance.
•    Requests for assistance from the COA Food Program can be made by calling the COA between 10 and 11 am Monday through Friday.
•    Van Transportation continues to run for essential purposes only (medical, pharmacy, grocery {Shaws}, post office and bank).
•    Durable medical equipment is available for borrowing by calling the COA.
•    Minuteman meal site is providing meals for distribution only.  Meals are packed for clients to pick up and enjoy at home.  Call Minuteman Senior Services at 781-221-7048 to reserve a meal.
•    We are offering some of our regularly scheduled programs such as exercise classes on Stow TV, YouTube and “live” remote Zoom classes.  
•    Dave Ashman and Stow TV have put  together a Tribute to Stow Seniors recording which is available on Stow TV and You Tube.
•    A modified podiatry clinic is being looked into.  More specifics to come.
•    All COA events and field trips are still suspended at least through June.
