Regarding

 The Renewal of the Cable License of Comcast of Massachusetts III, Inc.

 

The Local Access Channel Advisory Committee, as authorized by the Board of Selectmen for the Town of Stow, will conduct a public ascertainment hearing regarding the Renewal of the Cable License of Comcast of Massachusetts III, Inc., on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 7:00 PM by Zoom

The purpose of the hearing will be to review the performance of the cable television operator Comcast of Massachusetts III, Inc. (“Comcast”) and to hear testimony on future cable-related needs and interests of the community.  hold an "Ascertainment" Hearing regarding the cable license renewal of Comcast of Massachusetts Ill, Inc.  Interested parties are encouraged to attend and offer testimony on any cable-related matters.

Pursuant to Governor Baker 's March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, '18, and the Governor's March 15, 2020 Order imposing strict limitation on the number of people that may gather in one place, this hearing of the Local Access Channel Advisory Committee will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. For this meeting, members of the public who wish to listen/watch the meeting may do so in the following manner: Log onto Zoom before or during the meeting and access codes shown above. Be sure your device has a microphone, at minimum, if you wish to participate. If not, you may dial in to participate. Phone numbers shown above. No members of the public will be allowed to be present, in person, for the meeting, but every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, via technological means. In the event that we are unable to live broadcast and provide access during the meeting, despite best efforts, we will post on the Town 's website an audio or video recording, or other comprehensive record of proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting.
