Lower Village Zoning Forum - Oct 7th, 2021

On Thursday, October 7th, members of the Stow Planning Board, Economic Development & Industrial Commission, and Lower Village Revitalization Committee viewed a presentation by consultants Bob Mitchell and Peter Flinker on how zoning changes can help Lower Village realize its full potential as a lively and attractive gateway to Stow.

In 2019, the Lower Village Revitalization Subcommittee, a subcommittee of the Planning Board, released its final report, outlining a new vision for Lower Village as an "an attractive gateway to Stow, developed in the tradition of a New England village, where residents and visitors can safely and conveniently live, work, shop, dine and recreate." The task now is to understand how zoning can be updated to enable Lower Village to meet this vision.

A recording of the full presentation can be found at the bottom of this page.
