The Pompositticut School Use Study Committee is a five member group. The objective of this committee is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of use options for the Pompsitticut School, and report back to the Selectmen.
Phase One will consist of:
- Completing a thorough cataloging of existing studies of the building and site.
- Produce a comprehensive analysis of all options for Pomp land and building.
- Through Selectmen, obtain funds at Annual Town Meeting 2011 to fund professional research, as necessary.
- Propose to Selectmen process to address land use(s) which would move forward seperately.
Phase Two:
- Identify possible uses of building, allowed within the realities of the sturctural, legal and other specific data gathered.
- Develop proposal of building use.
- Bring proposal to Annual Town Meeting 2011 for vote on use and any associated costs to convert to said use.
- If approved, dissolve Study Group and create Pompo Building Committee (if necessary) with specific skill set to address future use.
