Appointment Authority: Joint Appointment
Description of Duties:
Capital Planning Committee is charged with consideration of capital projects, which are defined in the Stow General Bylaws as land acquitision and any expenditure of $10,000 or more having a useful life of at least three years. The committee provides its recommendations to town meeting.
Capital Planning Committee is composed of one member appointed by the Finance Committee, one member appointed by the Board of Selectmen and three members appointed by the Moderator. The Moderator shall also appoint no more than three associate members who shall be non-voting members.
