Stow Video Producers Pick Their Favorite Shows
A variety of shows to celebrate Stow’s video producers:  Marika Barnett, Jonathan Daisy, Lew Halprin, Mike Jordan, Dan Nicholson and Linda Stokes.  We asked the producers to suggest programs for this schedule; their reasons are listed below.  Bulletin Board music by Billy Novick and Guy Van Duser.
Schedule

Schedule by Show

Fri, Mon at 4 pm  ** New Time **

A Far Cry String Quartet (51 min)
Outdoor concert featuring works by Osvaldo Golijov, Haydn, and Schumann.  Producer:  Jonathan Daisy.  Jonathan selected this show because he liked that it was outside as the sun was setting and birds were flying around during the concert.  It was one of the first "two camera" shoots he did and the sound came out pretty well.

Thu, Fri, Sun, Mon at 2 pm

The Strangelings (83 min)
2007 concert recorded at FPC Coffeehouse.  Producer: Mike Jordan.  While it isn't one of his best recordings technically because he wasjust learning the coffeehouse setup and the camera struggled in the low light, Mike selected this program because it was a fantastic show.

Stow Residents Remember the Great Depression (64 min)
First hand accounts of experiences during the depression years of 1929-1939.  These are people we all know from around town comparing today's life with the much harder life back then.  There were a lot of heads nodding "yes" whenever one of the speakers described their circumstances.  Producer: Lew Halprin.
